POC awards Tagaytay properties to Yulo, Villegas, Petecio

The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) has awarded property in Tagaytay City to Paris Olympics medalists Carlos Yulo, Aira Villegas, and Nesthy Petecio as incentives for their achievements.

Carlos Yulo, who secured two gold medals in gymnastics, will receive two houses and lots.

Boxing medalists Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, both bronze winners, will each be gifted a bungalow.

POC President Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino stated that this is a continuation of their tradition of rewarding athletes, citing Hidilyn Diaz as the first recipient of such incentives.

The two houses and lots for Yulo are valued at approximately P15 million and are situated on a 500-square meter lot, each featuring a gazebo.

Petecio will receive a second property in Tagaytay City, adding to the one she was given after winning a silver medal in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.
