The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) plans to retain the core of the Alas Pilipinas team that won a historic bronze medal at the AVC Challenge Cup.

Collegiate stars Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, and Casiey Dongallo have been officially added to the national team pool.

PNVF President Ramon "Tats" Suzara stated that keeping the team intact is the obvious choice to make it stronger and more competitive for future tournaments like the SEA Games.

The federation also intends to keep head coach Jorge Edson Souza de Brito, whose contract is set to expire, but he has yet to decide if he will sign on for a new term.

Alas Pilipinas is scheduled to compete in an exhibition match in Korea, the FIVB Challenger Cup, and the SEA V.League.
