PNP logs 82,191 quarantine violators in NCR under Alert Level 3

A total of 82,191 quarantine violators have been recorded in the National Capital Region (NCR) since the implementation of Alert Level 3 as of Sunday, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Of the total violators, approximately 55% received warnings, 38% were fined, and 8% faced other penalties.

The majority of violations, totaling 60,573, were related to the breach of minimum public health standards.

Additionally, 21,159 individuals were caught violating curfew hours.

A total of 459 individuals not considered authorized persons outside residence (APORs) were also caught outdoors.

The NCR is currently under Alert Level 3 until October 31, allowing certain establishments to operate at limited capacities for fully vaccinated individuals.

Curfew hours in Metro Manila have been adjusted to midnight to 4 a.m. since October 13.
