PNP braces for stricter health protocols in NCR
The Philippine National Police (PNP) is coordinating with local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila to implement stricter health protocols under Alert Level 3, effective January 3.
PNP commanders have been directed to work with their LGUs to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID).

Under Alert Level 3, establishments and activities are allowed at 30 percent indoor capacity for fully vaccinated individuals and 50 percent outdoor capacity, provided all workers are fully vaccinated.
Face-to-face classes will be suspended for at least two weeks, and certain establishments like karaoke bars, indoor entertainment venues, and casinos will cease operations.
