PNP opens 2nd COVID testing center
The Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital's molecular laboratory is now operational after receiving its license to operate from the Department of Health.
PNP chief Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan announced the lab's readiness, which can initially conduct 90 to 150 COVID-19 tests daily.

The PNP's COVID-19 testing laboratory in Cebu is also expected to receive its license to operate from the DOH soon and will be able to conduct 150 to 180 tests per day once operational.
As of Wednesday night, the PNP had 543 active COVID-19 cases, 6,532 recoveries, and 22 deaths.
