Faster transfer of items found in Taal Lake ordered for forensic exam
The Philippine National Police (PNP) is expediting the forensic examination of items retrieved from Taal Lake, including those found in five sacks by the Philippine Coast Guard.
PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III directed the PNP crime laboratory in Calabarzon to hasten the transfer of these items to Camp Aguinaldo for examination.

The PNP has secured DNA samples from 12 relatives of the missing individuals.
