PLDT High Speed Hitters advance to PVL next round

The PLDT High Speed Hitters defeated Farm Fresh Foxies with a 25-20, 25-23, 25-23 score, securing their spot in the next round of the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.

Import Elena Samoilenko led PLDT with 22 points and nine excellent receptions.

Fiona Mae Ceballos contributed 11 attacks and 10 excellent digs, while Mika Aereen Reyes added eight points, including four blocks.

Kim Fajardo facilitated the offense with 12 excellent sets and scored three points.

The win places PLDT in the next round, joining Creamline and Chery Tiggo who also secured spots with 3-1 records, while Farm Fresh finished fourth in Pool A with a 2-3 record.

The next round will feature a crossover format, with the top three teams from Pool A playing against the bottom three from Pool B and vice versa, leading to a knockout quarterfinals for the Top 8.

PLDT's coach Rald Ricafort highlighted the team's adjustments and hard work as key to their morale-boosting victory.
