PITX projects 2.1M passengers for Undas, lower than last year

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) expects to serve over 2.1 million passengers during the Undas season, from the week of October 27 until after the holiday.

This projected volume is lower than the approximately 2.4 million passengers served during the same period last year.

PITX Director for Corporate Affairs and Government Relations, Jason Salvador, attributed the decrease to the holiday not being a particularly long weekend.

To ensure smooth operations and passenger safety, PITX is collaborating with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to check the roadworthiness of public transport vehicles and their drivers.

Salvador also advised passengers to pack light for their convenience and to allow space for other travelers' baggage.
