Pirena dies saving sister Terra in Encantadia Chronicles

Glaiza De Castro's character, Pirena, died in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" after sacrificing herself to save her sister Terra during a battle in Hathoria.

Her sacrifice, shielding Terra from an arrow, mirrors the death of her mother, Mine-a.

Glaiza De Castro has posted a heartfelt goodbye on social media.

Gabbi Garcia, who plays Pirena's sister Alena, stated that Pirena's death was necessary for the story to progress.

Pirena's spirit has since headed to Devas, where she reunited with family and expressed a desire to speak with her sister Amihan.

A preview for the next episode suggests Pirena may not rest in peace and intends to remain involved in the fight against Mitena.
