MUPH queens welcome new MUO exec director

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo and Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados shared their thoughts on the appointment of Thai entrepreneur Nawat Itsaragrisil as the new executive director of the Miss Universe Organization.

Mateo expressed optimism that a strong Philippine delegate will perform well under the new leadership, stating it does not personally affect the country's chances.

Ganados echoed a similar sentiment, saying that if the decision is best for the organization, there is nothing to object to.

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez also shared her reaction, expressing belief in the integrity of the Miss Universe organization and hoping for the representative of the Philippines to still have a chance this year.

The statements from Mateo and Ganados were made during the launch of a collaboration between PLDT Home and Netflix, which introduced the PLDT Home Fiber Netflix Plan 1599.
