Phoenix Fuel Masters conclude season with win over Blackwater

Phoenix ended its PBA Philippine Cup and Season 49 campaign with a 124-109 victory over Blackwater at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Jason Perkins and Kenneth Tuffin achieved career-highs with 39 and 29 points, respectively, contributing to Phoenix's 4-7 record in the eliminations after winning their final two games.

The Fuel Masters started strong, outscoring the Bossing 39-19 in the first quarter, with Perkins scoring 12 points and Tuffin 11.

Phoenix maintained its lead despite a late rally from Blackwater, with RJ Jazul and Tyler Tio securing the win by adding five points.

Perkins also contributed five assists and four rebounds, while Tuffin added 14 boards, two assists, and a steal.

Tyler Tio chipped in 14 points, and Kai Ballungay registered a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Blackwater finished the tournament with a 2-9 record, led by Richard Escoto with 20 points and RK Ilagan with 18 points, nine assists, four rebounds, and two steals.
