There were also 16 additional BA.4 cases detected in various regions.

Four cases of the BA.2.12.1 variant were identified in Cagayan Valley, Zamboanga Peninsula, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa.

Two cases of the BA.2.75 subvariant were found in Western Visayas and Central Visayas.

The reported cases are based on genome sequencing results from August 26 to 29.
