Experts emphasize that the Philippines must increase data-related investments to effectively harness AI for improved policymaking and accountability.

ICT policy analyst Mary Grace Mirandilla-Santos noted that data needs proper classification, processing, management, and sharing to have value.

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong highlighted AI's potential to strengthen the fight against corruption through integrity analytics and automated red flagging of anomalous transactions.
