PH logs 9,296 new COVID-19 cases

The Philippines reported 9,296 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, bringing the total tally to 741,181.

This marks the fifth consecutive day with over 9,000 new cases reported, following a day with over 10,000 new cases on March 29.

Active cases have risen to 124,680, with 96.0% being mild, 2.3% asymptomatic, 0.7% severe, 0.6% critical, and 0.39% moderate.

Total recoveries increased to 603,310 with 103 new recoveries.

The death toll climbed to 13,191 with five new fatalities.

Nine duplicate cases were removed, five of which were recoveries, and one case previously classified as recovered was reclassified as a fatality.

Nine laboratories were unable to submit their data on March 29.
