The Philippine government has finalized five out of seven procurement contracts for COVID-19 vaccines from international manufacturers.

These include supply agreements with Sinovac Biotech, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Novavax, and Gamaleya Research Institute.

The country has secured 25 million doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac, with deliveries starting last month.

An additional 17 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines, procured by the private sector and local government units, are scheduled for delivery starting in June.

The Philippines has also signed financing contracts for 20 million doses of Russia's Sputnik V, with the first 500,000 doses expected within April.

The COVAX Facility intends to ship approximately four million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines between April and early May.
