Philippines marks 80th UN anniversary with commemorative stamps

Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique A. Manalo delivered the keynote address at the stamp launch ceremony, reflecting on the Philippines' legacy and evolving role in the UN.

UN Resident Coordinator Arnaud Peral also spoke, reaffirming the UN's strong and continuing partnership with the Philippines.

The UN80 Commemorative Stamps were made available to the public on Thursday, June 26.

Carlos P. Romulo, who led the Philippine delegation to the charter signing, was a key figure in the UN's formation and the first Asian to preside over the United Nations General Assembly.
