Brooke Van Sickle's parents appointed head and deputy coach for Petro Gazz

Petro Gazz has appointed Gary and Lisa Van Sickle, parents of star player Brooke Van Sickle, as their new head coach and deputy coach, respectively.

The American couple will be joining their daughter Brooke on the Petro Gazz Angels squad for the Reinforced Conference.

Gary replaces former Japanese mentor Koji Tsuzurabara, who departed in July.

The Van Sickles bring extensive professional coaching experience and previously mentored Brooke throughout her childhood.

Brooke Van Sickle acknowledges the unique situation but emphasizes that on the court, her parents will be treated as coaches and the relationship will be strictly professional.

She expressed happiness and gratitude for her parents' presence, allowing her to be close to family after years spent overseas.
