On Friday, the PDP Laban senatorial bets also joined the miting de avance of Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod in Davao City, which was personally endorsed by Davao City Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte.
Baste Duterte is running for vice mayor, while his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, is seeking to reclaim the mayoral seat from detention in The Hague.
The PDP Laban senatorial bets have pledged to advocate for the return of Rodrigo Duterte from The Hague and to prevent the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.
Vice President Sara Duterte, who also endorsed the candidates, was expected to attend the Manila event.
