Marcos unfazed by Senate leadership change

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. was not surprised by the recent change in Senate leadership, stating that movements indicating this shift had been ongoing for about a month.

Marcos described the leadership change as an internal Senate matter and expressed confidence in the senators' ability to organize themselves and conduct their work effectively.

He believes the new leadership under Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III will not disrupt the administration's legislative agenda for the 20th Congress.

The President indicated that the agreed-upon agenda between the executive and legislative branches would likely remain consistent regardless of the Senate's leadership.
