PBBM unfazed by Forbes Park protest, orders no one hurt

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla stated that President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is not panicking over a protest rally outside Forbes Park Village in Makati City calling for his resignation.

Remulla mentioned that Marcos Jr. instructed him to ensure no one gets hurt during the protest and that while people have the right to air grievances, anarchy will not be tolerated.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported no untoward incidents during the rally, which had an estimated maximum of 100 protesters.

Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga led the protest, which focused on alleged anomalies in flood control projects involving former Ako Bicol party-list Representative Zaldy Co and presidential cousin, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Barzaga had previously announced their intention to enter the homes of Co and Romualdez as part of the protest.

Both Co and Romualdez have denied the allegations against them.
