Marcos Jr. trust, performance ratings rise in Q2 2025

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. saw an increase in his trust and performance ratings in the second quarter of 2025, with trust rising to 64% and performance to 62%.

This marks a reversal of his downward trend in ratings since the fourth quarter of 2024, underscoring a renewed confidence in the President's leadership.

In contrast, Vice President Sara Duterte experienced a decline in her ratings, with trust dropping to 54% and performance to 50%.

Senate President Chiz Escudero also saw a decrease in both his trust rating to 51% and his performance rating to 49%.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez also gained trust, according to the survey.

Marcos held the highest trust and performance ratings among all top officials surveyed.

While Marcos' ratings improved, his weakest support was in Mindanao, and his strongest in Luzon.

Duterte maintained her highest ratings in her Mindanao political base, despite her overall decline.
