All provinces to get own mobile clinic, Marcos says
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. pledged to deploy mobile primary care clinics in every province to extend healthcare services to those outside urban centers.
During his third State of the Nation Address (SONA), Marcos expressed his goal to establish sufficient facilities in all provinces for basic medical services.
He stated, "We will ensure that every single province will be given a mobile clinic, so that laboratory exams and other basic medical services can be brought closer to our countrymen."
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) previously announced the deployment of 83 "Bagong Pilipinas" mobile clinics nationwide starting this month.
Each mobile clinic is outfitted with advanced medical equipment, including digital x-ray and ultrasound machines, hematology analyzers, and microscopes.
