PBBM orders WCIP expansion to 600 hectares

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the expansion of the West Cebu Industrial Park (WCIP) to 600 hectares by designating seven parcels of land.

The newly included parcels of land, totaling 69,490 square meters, are situated in Barangays Arpili and Buanoy in Balamban, Cebu.

This expansion is in line with Proclamation No. 1105, issued on December 4.

The inclusion of these lands into the WCIP-Special Economic Zone is governed by Republic Act No. 7916, also known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, and its subsequent amendments and implementing regulations.

Specific land titles and Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) numbers for the parcels in both Arpili and Buanoy have been identified.
