Marcos optimistic on stronger ties with Colombia, Ukraine, Cambodia

He expressed his belief that the new ambassadors would play a key role in enhancing the existing relationships between the Philippines and their countries.

Marcos highlighted the potential for exploring new sectors and deepening cooperation with Colombia, noting shared aspirations for peace and development.

The Colombian ambassador stated that his country aims to cooperate with the Philippines to ensure lasting peace and development.

The President reiterated Manila's support for all efforts for peace in Ukraine amid its ongoing war with Russia.

The Ukrainian ambassador said her country seeks to develop bilateral relations with the Philippines on collective efforts that promote peace, prosperity, and mutual respect across borders.

Marcos also conveyed his desire to further solidify the Philippines' bilateral relations with Cambodia, recognizing their strong existing foundation.
