PBBM inaugurates 530-meter Pasig River Esplanade Phase IV

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. inaugurated Phase IV of the Pasig River Esplanade, a 530-meter stretch aimed at restoring the river, boosting tourism, and improving transport connectivity in Metro Manila.

The new section connects the initial phase of the project to the Arroceros Forest Park, running behind the Manila Central Post Office.

Phase IV features walkways, bike lanes, and commercial spaces designed to be a space for culture, community, health, and business.

President Marcos highlighted the project's significance in bringing the Pasig River back to life and providing a space for relaxation and connection within the city.

The project is part of the Pasig River Urban Development (PRUD) program, seeking urban renewal and ecological sustainability.

The inauguration was attended by the First Lady, Liza Araneta-Marcos, and other government officials.
