PBBM awards 17 outstanding farmers, ARBs, and rural communities

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. honored outstanding farmers, agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs), and rural communities at the Gawad Agraryo 2025 awards ceremony.

He paid tribute to 17 awardees, including 10 Most Outstanding ARBs, three Most Progressive ARBs Organizations, and four Most Progressive ARCs.

Marcos commended the honorees for their resilience, dedication, and unwavering service to their communities despite challenges in the agricultural sector.

He stated that these exemplary farmers, organizations, and communities have demonstrated hard work, perseverance, excellence, and love for the country.

The President vowed that his administration would continue supporting farmers through reforms in the agriculture and agrarian sectors.

He also noted that the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) is eyeing full debt condonation and land distribution under its proposed P17.3 billion budget.
