PBBM eyes boosting local milk production, attracting dairy investments

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that the government is actively exploring strategies to enhance local milk production and attract greater investment in the dairy sector.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Farm Fresh Milk Plant in San Simon, Pampanga, Marcos highlighted the government's collaboration with the private sector to offer support to local farmers.

He emphasized that the new dairy plant is expected to create livelihood opportunities for farmers and farm workers in the region.

The President also pointed out that increased local milk production and consumption will contribute to improved child health and provide a brighter future for the youth.

During his visit, Marcos participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and toured the milk plant's various operational areas, including mixing, pasteurization, and packaging.
