Marcos Jr. vows to boost PH dairy industry with new milk plant

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is committed to boosting the Philippine dairy industry and attracting investments by addressing challenges such as reliance on imported dairy products and the impact of climate change on local milk production.

During the inauguration of the Farm Fresh Milk plant in San Simon, Pampanga, Marcos Jr. highlighted the need for new facilities to properly collect and process dairy products.

The new plant is projected to produce 32 million liters of pasteurized milk and over 2.4 million liters of yogurt annually.

The President also emphasized the vital role of milk and dairy products in the nutrition and health of young Filipinos.

He recognized the private sector's consistent support and stated that the new facility will generate more stable and dignified job opportunities for Filipino farmers and veterinarians.

Marcos Jr. envisions that increased local milk production and consumption will contribute to improved child health and a brighter future for the youth.
