Marcos Jr. evaluates Cabinet performance amid revamp rumors

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is currently evaluating the performance of his Cabinet members to determine if leadership changes are necessary in various government agencies.

Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro confirmed that all positions are still under assessment, emphasizing that no removals, transitions, or transfers have occurred yet.

She clarified that recent leadership changes in agencies like the Department of Transportation and the Presidential Communications Office were due to voluntary resignations or replacements initiated by the agency heads themselves, not by the President.

Castro specifically denied rumors of imminent changes concerning the Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary and the head of the Presidential Security Command.

The possibility of a cabinet revamp remains uncertain as the evaluation is ongoing.
