PBBM declares 8 special non-working days in Nov-Dec for local celebrations

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared eight special non-working days in November and December for various local celebrations across six municipalities and two cities.

These declarations, outlined in Proclamations 1088 to 1095, were signed on November 12, 2025, by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental will observe a special non-working day on November 20 for its founding anniversary.

Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur will celebrate its Adlaw sa Aurora or Badak Festival on November 29 as a special non-working day.

Cainta, Rizal's founding anniversary and Sumbingtik Festival will be marked by a special non-working day on December 1.

Burgos, Ilocos Norte's founding anniversary is set to be a special non-working day on December 9.

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan will celebrate its Charter anniversary on December 18 with a special non-working day.

Three locations will have special non-working days on December 23: Bayawan City, Negros Oriental for its 25th Charter anniversary; Sto. Niño, South Cotabato for its 45th founding anniversary and 26th Hinublag Festival; and Mayantoc, Tarlac for its founding anniversary.
