PBBM assures typhoon victims of aid

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. assured typhoon victims in Nueva Vizcaya of continuous government support until they fully recover.

He personally distributed P50 million in financial aid from the Office of the President and P5,000 cash aid each to 500 beneficiaries under the DSWD's Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.

In addition, over 1,000 boxes of family food packs were distributed to affected residents and evacuees.

The combined effects of typhoons Nika, Ofel, and Pepito affected 8,168 families or 27,726 individuals in Nueva Vizcaya.

Supertyphoon Pepito alone left seven people dead, three injured from a landslide, and one missing in the province.

The typhoon also caused damage to 284 houses, with 2,540 partially damaged.
