Marcos Jr. appoints new officials in various govt offices

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed new officials across various government departments and offices.

Felix Castro Jr. was appointed as assistant secretary of the Office of the President, transitioning from his previous role as presidential assistant for Marawi rehabilitation.

New appointments within the Presidential Communications Office include Mario Fetalino Jr. as assistant secretary, and Cris Tenorio, Adrian Bautista, and Julius Leonen as Director IV, Director II, and Director III, respectively.

Benjamin Albarece and Eliseo Cruz were appointed assistant secretaries in the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Justice, respectively.

Ma. Carissa Coscolluela was tapped as acting board member of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, while Manjit Tobias Reandi was named as board member of the John Hay Management Corporation.

Josefina Annabel Bañafa and Wilma Galvante were appointed members of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.

Elihu Ybañez was appointed as the new commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Good Government.

Jimmy Catanes, Lora Yusi, and Mary Sylvette Gunigundo were appointed as Directors IV at the Commission on Higher Education, with Marco Cicero Domingo and Rody Garcia appointed as Director III.
