Beermen, Kings slated for Dubai tiff in October
The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is set to hold a game between the San Miguel Beermen and Barangay Ginebra in Dubai on October 26 as part of its Season 50 celebration.
This match marks the PBA's return to staging games overseas after a six-year hiatus, with the last one being a doubleheader in the UAE in 2019.
The Beermen and Gin Kings, while both part of the 2019 overseas trip, did not face each other then.
The Dubai game will be the first of several international events planned for the new season, which begins on October 5.
Following the Dubai event, the PBA is also scheduled to hold games in Bahrain on December 15 and 17.
The league is also in negotiations to hold games in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and New York.
