Kapuso actor Paul Salas formally asked actress Mikee Quintos to be his date for the GMA Gala Night during their anniversary trip to Boracay.

The couple celebrated their first anniversary in Boracay, where Salas documented his plan to surprise Quintos.

Salas presented Quintos with flowers before nervously asking her to be his date for the GMA Gala Night, to which she excitedly accepted.

Their outdoor proposal was nearly disrupted by rain but the weather cleared, allowing the romantic moment to proceed.

Quintos and Salas, who confirmed their relationship in May, have been open about their romance on social media.
