Partygoer apologizes to Napolcom for PNP uniform costume

A Halloween partygoer, Daryll Isidro, appeared before the National Police Commission (Napolcom) to apologize for dressing as a police officer for his costume.

Isidro stated that he deeply respects the police force and did not intend to disrespect their uniform, expressing that he did not expect his costume to become an issue.

The uniform, described as a Philippine National Police (PNP) general office attire type C with cut-off sleeves, was reportedly sourced from a tailor in Quiapo.

Napolcom Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Rafael Calinisan accepted Isidro's apology and tore up a show-cause order that was prepared for him.

Calinisan warned Isidro against repeating the act and advised the public against using police uniforms as costumes, stating it is illegal.
