Isko Moreno, Paolo Contis sign new noontime show deal with TAPE Inc.

Isko Moreno and Paolo Contis have signed long-term contracts with TAPE Inc. for a new noontime show, which they aim to position as viewer-centric.

TAPE's legal counsel, Maggie Abraham-Garduque, stated that the signing of these contracts proves that "Eat Bulaga" will not end on July 29, as rumored.

She explained that July 29 marks the end of "Eat Bulaga's" 43rd year, coinciding with its 44th anniversary celebration and many planned surprises for viewers.

Garduque also confirmed that TAPE's blocktime agreement with "Eat Bulaga" extends until 2024, with plans to continue providing entertainment for 45 years and beyond.

The original hosts, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon, resigned from TAPE Inc. in May, with the show returning in early June with a new set of hosts.

Abraham-Garduque also noted that the show's commercial load has increased and expressed satisfaction with its ratings, which on July 6 and 7 were 3.51% and 3.34% respectively, while a rival show "E.A.T." garnered 4.44% and 3.88%.
