Paolo affects over 313k people in 5 regions

Tropical Cyclone Paolo has affected a total of 313,822 people or 94,744 families across various regions including Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, CAR, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon.

Central Luzon remains the most impacted region, with 246,306 individuals affected.

Currently, 3,091 people in 866 families are staying in evacuation centers, while an additional 5,289 people in 1,928 families are seeking shelter elsewhere.

Flooding persists in 19 areas, though it has already subsided in 109.

Damage assessments report 27 houses damaged (26 partially, one totally) and six infrastructure damages.

Transportation infrastructure has been significantly impacted, with eight of 111 affected road sections and two of 17 affected seaports still impassable, leaving hundreds of passengers and vessels stranded.

Power interruptions are still occurring in 16 areas, while water supply has been restored in one.

Classes in 342 areas and work schedules in 128 areas were suspended due to the tropical cyclone.
