Pangilinan urges voters to reject other VP bets with Robredo

Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan urged voters to reject vice presidential candidates other than himself who are being linked with presidential aspirant Leni Robredo, stating that a different running mate could jeopardize Robredo's presidency.

Pangilinan emphasized the need to protect Robredo, suggesting that another vice president might engage in detrimental actions if she wins the presidency.

He specifically mentioned the pairing of Robredo with Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and Senate President Vicente Sotto III.

Robredo has consistently stated her support solely for Pangilinan in the upcoming vice presidential race.

Pangilinan also asserted that the Leni-Kiko tandem is the only one that will champion the rights of fisherfolk, particularly in light of China's claims over Panatag Shoal.
