Pangilinan prioritizes food security, proposes free student breakfast

The proposed 'Libreng Almusal' program would cover students from daycare to senior high school in public schools.

This initiative would be supported by the full implementation of the Sagip Saka Act, which he authored in 2019.

Under the proposed breakfast program, half of the budget must be allocated for direct purchases from local farmers and fishermen, expanding their market access and stabilizing local food systems.
