Two men arrested after carjacking in Pampanga

Two suspected carnappers, Reden, 34, and Ryan, 44, were arrested in San Fernando, Pampanga, after stealing a Toyota Land Cruiser from a 21-year-old victim named Migs.

The incident occurred on 14 March 2025 at around 6:30 PM along JASA Road in Barangay Dolores, where the suspects seized the vehicle at gunpoint.

The victim attempted to stop the suspects by reaching through the driver's side window, resulting in an injury to his left arm.

A motorcycle rider who witnessed the crime alerted police, leading to a chase and the interception of the stolen vehicle with the help of SWAT personnel.

During the apprehension, a sling bag containing a loaded .45 caliber STI Edge pistol and a magazine with nine bullets was recovered from Ryan.

The suspects, both from Bolinao, Pangasinan, were taken into police custody, and the recovered weapon is now in the possession of authorities.

Charges of carnapping, grave threats, serious physical injury, and violation of the gun ban are being prepared against Reden and Ryan.
