Palawan fishermen find suspected Chinese rocket debris

Fishermen in Palawan discovered suspected debris from a Chinese Long March rocket launch in waters off Bisucay Island, Cuyo.

The debris is believed to be linked to a Long March 2C rocket launch on September 16, part of China's space exploration efforts.

Local authorities, including Barangay Funda chairwoman Alena Macaslin, were alerted after the discovery.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) secured the area and took custody of the debris.

The PCG has turned the debris over to the Philippine Space Agency for analysis and verification.

The PCG urges the public to report any sightings of similar debris and to avoid direct contact due to potential safety risks.
