Another cocaine stash found in Palawan
Authorities in Palawan confiscated an estimated ₱133.61 million worth of suspected cocaine that washed ashore in Linapacan.
The discovery was made after a local resident, Benjo, alerted the police about several black-taped packages marked "STONE" found along a remote coastline.
Approximately 25.21 kilograms of the suspected illegal substance were recovered.
This latest find occurred three days after a separate stash of cocaine valued at P146 million was found between Rizal and Quezon towns.
The recovered cocaine has been handed over to the Palawan Provincial Forensic Unit for testing.
PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. emphasized the significance of community reporting in thwarting drug trafficking operations.
