Palace denies rumors of Angara, Aguda ouster

Malacañang has denied rumors that Education Secretary Sonny Angara and Information and Communications Technology Secretary Henry Aguda are set to be removed from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Cabinet.

Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro stated that both Angara and Aguda were present at a Legislative Executive Development Advisory (LEDAC) meeting on December 9, where they presented their projects to the President.

Castro emphasized that the President is content with his current Cabinet secretaries and believes they are diligently working.

Earlier in the year, Angara faced accusations of inserting questionable projects into the national budget during his time as a senator, while Aguda's agency was linked to questionable procurements.

Both secretaries have previously denied the allegations made against them.
