Palace declares work suspensions for New Year holidays

The Palace has declared work suspensions in all government offices on December 29, 2025, and January 2, 2026, to allow employees to celebrate New Year's Day and facilitate travel.

The announcement was made through Memorandum Circular No. 111, signed by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto.

Government agencies that provide essential services, such as those in basic, vital, and health sectors, as well as those involved in preparedness and response, are required to continue their operations.

The decision regarding work suspensions in private companies and offices rests on the discretion of their respective management.
