600 grams of suspected shabu seized in Naga City operation

Police seized 600 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP4.08 million in a buy-bust operation in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

The operation led to the arrest of a high-value individual, alias Jay, who was apprehended selling illegal drugs in Barangay Concepcion Pequeña.

The seized contraband was contained in 11 plastic bags and three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.

The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) reported the operation as a significant success in their intensified anti-drug campaign.

The buy-bust operation was a collaborative effort involving Naga City Police Station 2, Police Station 6, the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit, the Naga City Intelligence Unit, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon stated that efforts will be intensified to disrupt drug syndicates and curb the proliferation of illegal substances in the region.
