Over P1M worth of illegal drugs seized in Laguna, Cavite ops

Three individuals suspected of being high-value targets in the illegal drug trade were apprehended in separate operations in Laguna and Cavite, with authorities confiscating over P1 million worth of illegal drugs.

In San Pedro City, Laguna, one suspect, alias 'Michael,' was arrested with approximately P360,000 worth of shabu.

Another individual, alias 'Apat,' was arrested in Calamba City, Laguna, possessing shabu valued at P374,000.

Meanwhile, in Silang town, Cavite, alias 'Jayson' was arrested with over P187,000 worth of shabu and a digital weighing scale.

In a separate operation in Bacoor City, Cavite, two high-value individuals, alias Xtian and alias Neng, were arrested with P408,000 worth of suspected shabu and a .38 caliber revolver.

Authorities seized a motorcycle believed to be used by one of the suspects in their illicit activities.

All arrested individuals face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, with the Bacoor suspects also facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act.
