OVP thanks Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Go for Usec. Lopez's hospital visit

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) thanked Senator Imee Marcos for securing a Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) order allowing Vice President Sara Duterte and Senator Bato Dela Rosa to look after OVP Undersecretary Zuleika Lopez at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC).

Lopez was hospitalized after being detained by the House committee on good government and threatened with transfer to the Women's Correctional Facility.

The OVP also expressed gratitude to Senator Bong Go for his support during the recent crisis.

The crisis occurred shortly after Vice President Duterte claimed she had arranged for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s assassination if an alleged plot against her succeeded.
