Over 70,000 pass 2025 LEPT for teachers

Over 70,000 candidates passed the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

For the elementary teacher category, 21,967 out of 43,035 examinees passed, a 51.04% passing rate, with 19,924 being first-timers and 2,043 repeaters.

In the secondary teacher category, 57,729 out of 79,493 examinees passed, achieving a 72.62% passing rate, comprising 52,207 first-timers and 5,522 repeaters.

Christel Zamora de los Reyes, with a 94.40% rating, and Jed Vincent Requilme Abadia, with a 94.80% rating, both graduates of Cebu Normal University, topped the elementary and secondary examinations, respectively.

West Visayas State University - La Paz was the top-performing school for elementary teachers with a 99.26% passing rate, and Cebu Normal University led for secondary teachers with a 97.57% passing rate.

The results for 49 examinees were withheld due to pending liabilities, and three more were withheld for further document verification.
