Over 3,000 join anti-corruption fun run at UP Diliman

Over 3,000 runners participated in an anti-corruption fun run at UP Diliman on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

The event, 'Takbo Laban sa Korapsyon 2.0', was organized by student councils and a civic group to demand accountability from corrupt government officials.

Participants are calling for accountability regarding alleged flood control anomalies and mismanagement of public funds.

They expressed disappointment that no one has been held accountable since their last protest in September.

A symbolic jail booth was placed along the route for officials allegedly involved in anomalous flood control projects.

The fun run is part of a series of activities leading up to a larger protest planned for Bonifacio Day, November 30, at Luneta.
