NUNS apologizes for Bullpups players' taunting of UST Junior Golden Spikers

The National University-Nazareth School (NUNS) has apologized for the unacceptable taunting behavior of several Bullpups players towards the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Junior Golden Spikers during a UAAP Season 88 Final Four match.

NUNS stated that the players' actions went against the school's core values and that appropriate disciplinary actions have been taken after meetings with the involved players and coaches.

UST head coach Aying Esteban asked his players to take the high road and not make a fuss about the incident, stating they were not affected by the taunting.

NUNS officials also reached out to UST athletic director and UAAP Season 88 president Fr. Rodel Cancansio to apologize on behalf of the school.

The school is reinforcing its formation programs to prevent similar incidents in the future and expressed gratitude to the UAAP community for holding them accountable.
