NU expands 4 campuses for 125th anniversary

National University (NU) is expanding four of its campuses to accommodate more students and introduce new programs as it celebrates its 125th anniversary.

The expansion includes NU's main campus in Sampaloc, Manila, and its satellite campuses in Clark, Pampanga; Mall of Asia, Pasay City; and Fairview, Quezon City.

NU Clark will receive a new academic tower with classrooms and laboratories, while NU Mall of Asia will add two floors for more academic facilities.

NU Fairview is also set to get another academic tower, and the Manila main campus will be upgraded with 24 new classrooms, faculty rooms, a learning resource center, and an auditorium.

NU President Renato Carlos Ermita Jr. stated that these expansions aim to cater to more students in fields such as engineering, architecture, tourism, psychology, and accountancy.

The university currently serves over 83,000 students and plans to reach 100,000 by 2027, with new campuses planned for Davao, Iloilo, and Urdaneta.
